The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) formerly known as National Open School (NOS) was established in November,1989 as an autonomous organisation in pursuance of National Policy on Education 1986 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
CBSE (The Central Board Of Secondary Education) was confirmed on 3 Nov,1962 (53 years ago) by the parent body of Ministry Of Human Resource Development. It conducts the final examination for class XII every year in the month of March.The results are announced by the end of May.
Patrachar Vidyalaya is the pioneer institute in the field of education at school level. It was established in 1968 with the motto of opening new vistas education for the drop outs , 10th pass and 11th failures or pass students. It is under the Fiscal Control Of Directorate Of Education Delhi.
